Planning your visit

Walk-ins are welcome during OPD hours, but booking ahead by phone or WhatsApp means a shorter wait — and if you are travelling in from another district, it lets us plan tests and counselling so the visit is completed in a single trip. Tell us which town you are coming from when you call.

What to bring

• Any old glasses and earlier prescriptions or eye reports
• A list of the medicines you take, including eye drops
• If you have diabetes, recent blood sugar and HbA1c reports
• For cashless treatment, your insurance or TPA card and a photo ID — see how cashless treatment works

Many eye examinations include drops that widen the pupil, which leaves vision blurred for a few hours afterwards. It is best to come with someone, or to plan not to drive yourself home.
